Folder Hierarchy refers to the way folders are organized and displayed. Folder provides an intuitive way to organize templates, releases, configurations, and dashboards by project, by team, or by any other model and apply security by setting role-based access control.
Release Folder Hierarchy iCube enables you to blend with the Release iCube by linking the Release Folder Child and Folder attributes to perform release level analysis across all the child folders of a Parent Folder.
For example, once these iCubes are linked, you can use the Release Folder Parent attribute as a filter and select any level from the parent attribute to analyze release-based attributes or metrics across all releases underneath the selected parent folder.
The parent folder attribute displays a flattened view of all underlying child release folders that are associated either directly or indirectly with the parent folder.
